Satsumas

Thursday. Our spell of fantastic weather is holding for now. Monty has his marathon in Brighton on Sunday, so hopefully, it will last until then. Gubs is tackling a long History essay for his A-level, which has been causing a lot of stress, but to his credit, he’s soldiering on and getting it done. I had a long day at work, but not a bad one. Loads of HR work to do in the afternoon, so a ton of meetings. It was well after seven when I finally got away. I did manage to find this image of the late afternoon sun over the Canterbury skyline, taken through the windows in our coffee room. The pair of satsumas partly silhouetted in the foreground nicely balance the composition.
