The Farewell

Well, the day has arrived! Nambour Corps’ farewell for the Donaldsons.

The rain has continued and has been very heavy, and people were asking if the event would be cancelled. There is some flooding around the Sunshine Coast, but we went ahead and asked whoever felt they could make it, to come. And thankfully, the rain stopped for the rest of the day, and it was lovely and sunny.

The afternoon tea was just super and there were sooooo many people there. So pleased to see such a good turn out.

Then on to the formal farewells from various groups, with gift giving. And a final prayer for their last weeks here and their journey home and onwards to their ministry back in the UK.

Needless to say it was emotional, the video collage of their time here turned out just perfect. A good memento for them.
