Sea Holly?

I think this is a kind of sea holly although I refer to it as the 'blue thistle' . I have others; one smaller with smaller leaves and flowers, and one with round balls as flowers. I had to do a bit of yanking out weeds today as some of the weeds are taller than me.
The meal was lovely last night and the party girl was enjoying herself. She had lots of cards and was looking much younger than 94.
Everyone seemed to enjoy the cake, and it is all gone. A basic Victoria sponge is a pretty safe bet I think.
The sailors went to Barra yesterday, having decided they were not going to manage St Kilda . Daughter says they are having a fabulous time. Maybe she will back blip some on her journal.
