On a wet morning

Along with my blip for 02 April, this is a back-blip. 

For a few days I have experienced seeing the back of my right eye in brief flashes of colour. Foe the first few days I was able to ignore it, but on Wednesday I could not stop thinking that maybe I was about to go blind. Unable to concentrate at work (which would not be fair to patients or other staff) I left and got an appointment at a branch of Spec Savers. The Optometrist I saw was carefl, knowledgeable and skilled. Basically reassured me, and then agreed with me about seeing an Ophthalmologist, and sent a referral. His rooms contacted me while S was driving us home and I have an appointment on Monday. Panic over.

The bleed or occlusion did not interfere with my photo taken on my later than usual walk from the Grafton Station.. I had gone to the New Lynn  lab for  ablood test which came back just right. Can relax now.
