Spinning...

The plumber arrived this morning and we headed off to see about renewing our phone contracts.
We will not be changing anything as we are on the lowest rate available already and it is going to stay that way - so no point in changing.

We then went looking for a new mirror for the new ensuite (not that it is finished yet). That was a fail..... A distinct lack of choice.

I had an appointment at the doctor's this morning to have my memory tested. 
But before that she gave me the results of my x-rays from a few days ago..... The ankle that keeps giving way - arthritis is setting in. The hips - also arthritis (to go with the fused vertebrae, wearing joints and damaged tendons) .....Wonderful!
As for the memory - it is on the slippery slope and I will be referred back to the geriatric psychiatric unit (wonderful!). I think the doctor knew the way things were going to go when she asked me what day, date and year it was and I had no idea (although SWMBO did say that is always the way and has been since I stopped working). I did get my own back when she asked my to name as many animals as possible in a minute and she stopped me immediately when I started with Aardvark (she had never heard of it and wanted to look it up).

The Blip is a spinning top which, when it stops stays on top of the cone.
It will also spin on a finger tip .... but it will fall off that when it stops.
