Temporary fix ( bodge )

I've always been accused of not getting rid of "stuff", but time and time again it has been very useful in providing solutions to problems many years hence, and so it came to pass that my fence was damaged by gale force winds yesterday with a post broken and the panels either side requiring urgent support. So my treasure trove of useless junk came to the rescue with a stainless steel corner strip for ceramic tiles and an oddment of narrow but sturdy hardwood being screwed onto sound elements of the post as a form of brace.Although I have most of the bits for a proper repair including a spare post it will not be possible to attempt this until the winds die down.  Luckily it was all done this morning in advance of more wind and rain - yes- rain, arriving this afternoon.
