Spring blooms
Had 9am dental appointment. Over the past few weeks I must have been teeth grinding at night. The white filling I'd had installed on part of a back molar last June chipped off again. Lynda, my dentist replaced it free of charge.
Afterwards headed to the wholefood for warehouse for peanut butter, tahini and wholemeal flour.
Back home had a bit of breakfast before taking the hound for a walk.
I have to keep changing clothes as the temperature rises through the day. By the afternoon I put cropped leggings on and sneakers.
My bestie Giovanna picked me up at 1.30. She delivered choccies and a lovely cyclamen - belated birthday presents. She drove us to the National Trust's Anglesey Abbey for the afternoon.
The flower displays were splendid. Swathes of daffodils glowing in the sunshine and shy blue scillas in the shade of silver birches and shrubs - extra.
We had a delightful walk around the grounds catching up on news and enjoying the fresh air and bird song.
Stopped for a beverage and coffee and walnut cake.
It was a wonderful afternoon with great company. The Italians have the appropriate word for Giovanna 'simpatica'. It means more than sympathetic.
Now going to chill with BbC iplayer's Towards Zero. A murder occurred in the second episode.
Pleasant evening everyone.
