Manor

I’m not sure how old the gates & posts are. The sandstone Manor House next to them dates to 1662, I am guessing the gates are a bit more recent than that.
Anyway, it was another beautiful blue sky day, so I found time for a stroll. Through these gates, spotting a heron on the pond that’s in the background, then on through the fields accompanied by skylarks.
Please don’t let this weather be a tease. I’m enjoying it too much.
