Welcome interloper
It’s been a day of getting our routine back to normal after having had a house guest for three days.
A load of washing has dried in the glorious sunshine, some special birthday cards have been made (one for a friend of ours, two for a friend of our granddaughters), and Smithers and I have both had our Spring Covid booster jabs. So far we seem to be side-effect free, which is great.
I now need to clear the decks in the craft room after a whirlwind of activity in there, and then it will be time to sit down and enjoy the supper that Smithers is making as I write. I am thoroughly spoiled.
This camellia is in our garden. The clematis armandii, however, is technically in the garden belonging to our next door neighbours, but seemingly prefers to climb over the fence and entwine itself around our camellia, such that our neighbours can hardly see it! It has the most delightful scent.
