Taps 'aff

Kind of a day, and it's only April!

I'm looking for 80-100 litre galvanised steel bins with locking lids. They're not as easy to find as you might think.

Today, I remembered Linlithgow's hardware shop. When I used to drive through weekly with my mother, the hardware shop had its wares on the street, teasing me. Alas as I drove through, I found it had succumbed to being another gift shop. What use are pretty/unnecessary objects?

I've always been enticed by a hardware shop, so many gorgeous shiny metal things, brooms, paints, and pieces of wood to covet.

I think I need to go wild in the country, cattle style with my cowboy boots on, and find me a feed store.

Linlithgow is such a beautiful town, so much history and architecture. This is a bit of the town hall, which sits in front of Linlithgow Palace. Opposite is this 70s set of flats, which, despite being completely incongruous, I love for its almost brutalist slap in the face. See extras to enjoy the views.
