Meet Tee

A few weeks ago I invited you to meet Honey, one of the dogs who 'helps' me garden at G's. 

Here is her big sister Tee, who is the sweetest of girls until a strange (especially female) dog arrives on her patch. For that reason Bean remains in the car when I work there.

Tee is an ancient golden huntaway who was one of the farm dogs and has now adapted to a happy retirement around the house and garden. 

When I'm there she always potters over for an ear-scratch. And should I have the temerity to stop for any reason a paw pops up and I get the beseeching gaze...

On a completely different tack, I have been listening to an interview with my favourite national treasure this afternoon. 

What a down to earth, gentle soul Sam Neill is. Many could take a leaf out of his book. Naming no names...
