A striking day

We were bowling in Guildford today. Much easier for me to get to - just 20 minutes or so, rather than a good hour or more driving to Tonbridge Wells via the M25. It is a longer journey though for my bowling partners from the Kent/Sussex border, which is why we only play at Guildford once a month. It is a much better - and cheaper - venue than the Hollywood Bowl and it does seem to encourage a better standard of play from us. I was neck and neck with Steve K in the last two games after he won the first comfortably. I won those two games and had the highest score - 165 - of the day, averaging 143 over the three games. The photo was taken at the end of the final game where I clocked up 152, with two strikes and a 9 in the last frame.
