Two Treasures

…………………………………and a concrete carbuncle! The old bridge (400 years old), the Royal Border bridge (opened 1850) and the new bridge or Royal Tweed bridge to give it its Sunday name (in the middle) was opened in 1928.

A trip to the dentist this morning to get the results of last weeks thorough examinations and sign up for a plan, I’ll be saving money and getting more appointments than with my previous dentist and it’s only a 20 minute walk from home…what’s not to like! An afternoon with a book, one I’ve been reading for ages so I was glad to finally find out how the story ended! Also had a visit from a tradesman to finalise measurements to have my ground floor doors and windows replaced next month…he replaced my leaking dormer doors with a window over a year ago so I know he’ll do a good job.

Thanks to BobsBlips for hosting Wide Wednesday.
