This is the only picture I've taken today! We rode the metro to Deira City Centre to get a new battery for my watch after dropping the Peugeot off at the garage to get the cooling system work done. Someone from the garage very kindly gave us a ride to the station. :))

The Mall was heaving, so we didn't do everything that we needed there. G got some baking soda, though, as she was busy in the morning, tackling all sorts of small chores. One of them was fixing the sliding door to my balcony, which has been impossible to open for a few years now. She also got the unsightly stains off my (leather) sofa, which are caused by my body lotion!

So we are carless for a couple of days. I enjoyed my day in the office, quiet as it was as so many people are still away, enjoying an extended holiday.
