Cataract op

Chris was collected at 10.10 for her cataract op today at a specialist eye clinic near Leicester. My job was to look after Oscar. He whimpered when she left but then perched himself on the back of my chair. I did the health and hygiene on line training for the railway. I was just about to go and make lunch when Chris sent a message at 12.07 saying she'd be home in 40 mins. How quick was that. She was told to expect to be there 3 hours!
I took Oscar a nice long walk so she could rest. She is in discomfort and finds it easier to close both eyes. Hopefully things will be better in the morning.
