Not doing pride but……. I forgot to mention Nathaniel had to sing by himself in the play and he managed well. He’d refused to practice at home. The review for the first night was 5 stars and he got a mention - in case I forget for my own record- “Nathaniel put in an admirably confident performance as William.”

I had the recommended 10 minute walk. I hadn’t realised you couldn’t get far and back on that time. I have done all the exercises and the ice but so far there is no relief.

I did rest it and sat in the sun out of the wind to continue with Emma. After that I’m definitely going to start on Butter - although I might be tempted by a history of Rome through 20 women which I’d bought after the Vindolanda talk.

We went to Morpeth for dental checks. The price went up on 1 April. I hope I never need Band 3 treatment which is almost £400 now. I picked up some pelargoniums for £1.98 each in Lidl.
