Spoilt For Choice
A morning of watering and packing gave way to an afternoon drive to Shropshire and a visit to very good friends C & I. Their garden, always interesting, offered multiple blip possibilities in the wonderful, warm sunshine. The huge magnolia was perhaps the star plant, a close up included of a single flower but for me the little Spring Gentian was a fav, reminding me of faraway mountains. There were oodles of lovely primulas too. This evening we all went to the local AGS meeting for a fascinating talk of foliage plants. A nice bit of timing for me as I was due to pass this way today on my way to Ruth's. Another AGS group tomorrow night but I'll be up front rather than in the audience.
In extra pic a little flower that has popped up in a couple of places in my own garden. I blipped it once before, in the Norwich garden, 13 years ago ... to the day!
