Splitting the sky
So what do you do on a day when the sun is shining all day, splitting the blue sky, casting warmth everywhere and charging the solar battery? Cut the grass? Relax in the garden with a glass of wine? Climb a hill? No, you travel to Glasgow and sit in a dark, windowless not very warm space for 3 hours listening to speeches at the launch of Upside, the new national Throughcare Service at the Old Fruitmarket. An event not designed for networking but I did get a good catch up with P, my old Turning Point mate. Haven't seen him for over 6 years. However, the train journey to and fro through beautiful spring scenery was lovely. I saw a hare.
Other side of that I was far too tired to swim in the morning and too tired too cook or watch TV at night.
I'm counting the days till Sunday.
