Uneasy breakfast buddies

I was surprised to see Mr Bullfinch eating breakfast with a Goldfinch this morning, the Goldfinch doesn’t look too happy about it either. No sign of Mrs Bullfinch so I’m hoping she may be looking after a nest perhaps?
Shortly afterwards I headed off to the museum to cover a shift due to staff sickness.
 A beautiful warm day today with the car showing a temperature of 19C on the way home at 5pm, an early summer for us!
