Clematis

This vine is really growing well this spring. I have two flowers now and so many buds. I need to find some kind of trellis to let it grow against as it has already reached the top of what I had for it to climb.

I love when plants grow well in spite of me.

Had a 4 miles away walk this morning with my newest hiking friend Kathy. I only met her last year but we really have so much in common. She doesn’t do photos but she paints flowers, birds and butterflies. I don’t think we stopped talking the whole time we were walking! Then we had lunch and ended up having a long conversation with the woman at the next table.

A good day! Thankful the rain has put out the fires in our mountains! Plus most of the pollen is gone!
