Let's Go Fly A Kite
I know that it sounds like an April Fools' Day joke but Let's Go Fly A Kite from Mary Poppins was played as we left the crem after MrQ's funeral service. I'm told that my son, who had shown no emotion up until then, said with gusto, Brilliant song!
I photographed the red kite early this morning and it returned this afternoon. As I tracked it the bird flew in front of the sun and I got the above image. I've decided to post it as it's a bit different. I've added a more conventional pic to extras.
I've included the Bell 206B JetRanger III helicopter as it is one that my son always used to be on about and also because the pilot can be seen looking down at me. He had flown out of White Waltham in West London. This machine crashed in 1993 when it was filming a car commercial in Wales. Luckily nobody was hurt.
