Connaught Water

This morning, after taking V to school I took Mr MC to the chiropodist and I shopped in M&S.  As usual in this store I am unable to follow a list as I'm bedazzled by the food in its variety and quality.
This afternoon we took a walk around Connaught Water on a beautiful clear blue sky day.  Some pigeons clearly thought that the water should be entered on such a lovely day and for the first time ever, I have seen them splashing, washing and generally enjoying themselves in the lake.
In extras, I've put what greeted us when we entered the carpark - a couple of solar panels powering two cameras.  I don't know if they are to catch out offending motorists in general or if they are just going for Blue Badge holders, or perhaps they want to catch anyone who makes off with the subjects of my collage in Extras!  Whichever, it's a sorry sight as is the quantity of rubbish which we've seen lately around the lake.  Also in Extras, water around the trees after they have 'fixed' the 'accessible' paths and also a  collage  of the very charming reason why at least some work has been undertaken.
