Maiko Okamoto - Fascination

Near work is a little hall that is a time capsule of the 80s. I love that there’s a window to the not so distant past here. Walking around the U.K., France or Italy, there’s tonnes of history from 100s of years ago. Singapore is just basically box fresh new, but Japan is still sometimes stuck in the 80s but I love it. If it ain’t broke, don’t fix it. Although I wasn’t living here during that time, the linoleum brings me heavy flashbacks of when my parents took me to department stores in Melbourne in the early 80s. It’s a vibe I really like.
