Plum blossom

This plum tree produces a mass of blossom each year. Last year the pigeons ate all of them, so we saw only a handful of fruit (from later blossoms). Sadly those fruit were all infected with plum moth. All in all this tree is not exactly thriving. I might try putting netting over the branches to deter the winged rats, but I’d rather not use insecticide for the plum moth.
