Still Light

As the clocks went forward at the weekend it was still light after football and I took this shot on the beach just before I went into the flat. A great game of football - leading the line, holding up the ball and then laying off paces to teammates or taking shots at goal myself, on the turn. Just the way I like it. Always better too when it works out. I scored our first when my near post shot managed to squirm through the keeper and then was involved in the next two as we pressed their defence and forced them to make mistakes. I took advantage of another error to score our fourth and my second and completed my hat-trick with a neat shot before the other team had got off the mark. It got to 6-0 before they pulled one back and went to 8-2 (I played a great 1-2 with C for him to score our eighth) before they got a couple of late consolations. All very pleasing!
