Musing of a Lady

European Peacock Butterfly

"This butterfly is the European Peacock (Aglais io), with striking eye-like spots, which serve as a defense mechanism against predators. This species is commonly found across Europe and parts of Asia, and it is often seen in gardens, meadows, and woodland clearings. It frequently feeds on nectar from flowers such as grape hyacinths (also pictured)." Information sourced with help of ChatGDP.

Today has been a typical Tuesday, for the most part. Little Man had nursery, but I had to dose him up with cough syrup before we left as he was coughing during the night. When I got home, I spent some time working on some admin that needing doing. I also requested that my SIM-only contract with Labara get terminated. Over the last 3½ months I've had awful phone coverage at home, often with no signal, even on good days. If its clear, I'll get coverage in certain spots around the country. Often my phone will say it's connected and has 4G+, but I can't use my data or make calls. Due to Little Man's unpredictable health (he's had a couple of seizures since we've gotten to the Netherlands), I need to be contacted if there's an emergency. So we're going to Utrecht tomorrow to visit a phone shop to see if we can get a good deal on a new phone. Thankfully, it's very straightforward to transfer your phone data from one Samsung device to another.

I also moved most of my photographs that I had on my phone onto an external memory card (see the extra photo). I bought a large memory card recently but haven't bothered moving my photos until my phone started sending me notifications, this morning, that I was running out of storage space. Turns out I had over twelve thousand photos on my phone (around forty two gigabytes). So I moved all the photos, bar those taken this last week, onto the memory card.

I collected Little Man from nursery and we walked to Waarder, to the nearest supermarket. We picked up a few essentials, then got the bus home. Little Man has been a bit cranky and tired, but I think it's down to feeling a bit under the weather.

Thank you for the comments, stars and hearts on yesterday's post.
