Cockington country park

Monday 
We had a short walk around Haytor vale after breakfast, then picked up mum and drove over to meet up with Mike, Barbara and Frances at Cockington. Amazingly, in all the years we've been visiting my family in Devon, Dennis has never been to Cockington village. The grounds were looking lovely with spring flowers and magnolia and blossom in the trees. We had a wander around the artisan craft shops, had coffee outside in the sunshine and a walk round several ponds.

We took mum to M&S at the Willows on the way home and had lunch, then she did a food shop. We stopped off at Mike and Barbara's for a cuppa before heading back to Bovey Tracey.
