Reflections

Over the River Welland, Stamford, Lincs. #2 Daughter has a day off so we were able to spend an extra day with her and she took us to this lovely town. First a very good brunch in the Cosy Club, then a mooch round this historic old town, lovely pale stone buildings, interesting architecture and many independent shops and finally a walk and a sit by the River. Lots of ducks and a lonely Swan.

 It has been a lovely day, with lots of sunshine which we continued to enjoy in T's garden, until it was time to get back to work, feeding dogs and preparing dinner for M when he gets  back from work and L from school.

Home for us tomorrow after a really lovely Mother's Day weekend.
