A Splash of Colour

I had a delay in leaving for Akaroa because I found out that our landline wasn't working. John will not use a cellphone and relies on the landline. Our old provider ended yesterday and the new one was to start about a week ago. After a lot of carry on and two hours later it was found that the cable people hadn't put in the right code in. John couldn't understand what they were saying so I had to handle it all. They said it may take a few days to get the line working.

The trip to Akaroa wasn't too bad only a few roadworks to hold me up. 

I rang our home phone number just to see if by chance it was working later in the day...as yes it was as John answered. That was good they got it going fixed sooner than expected.
