The fruits of Pittosporum revolutum (Brisbane Laurel among other common names) are presented so attractively that I suspect they are good tucker for some animals. They are probably best avoided by humans - websites say there is little information about toxicity to humans but suggest caution. Photographed today in the nearby forest reserve, the fruit capsule is about 3 cm across; the individual red fruit are each the size of a garden pea.
