Getting ready to give birth. I admire her patience standing and sitting all day waiting.
Her face is a bit weird with the black head and neck and the white cheeks, and the sounds she makes are not very harmonious or pleasant, but all in all she’s a wonderful wild creature.
Today I learned about a very interesting democratic experiment that has gotten started with great success. It is called the Resistance Labs, a serious initiative to stand up and fight back, launched by Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.)
