"Best Part of Today"

I took this early this morning on the way to my day with mum. I checked dads knee, very swollen, took him to GP who made an emergency referral via A & E. Dads knee is infected may be due to the injection but also has a chest infection. Spent all day with x rays bloods examinations, more bloods more x rays more aspiration of fluid around the knee x 3 YUK !!

Eventually after a very long day dad was sent up to a ward to be seen by a specialist who wanted 2 day of AB drip and then maybe a choice of "wash"

No chance dad refused to stay as he had got so worked up during the course of the day and said I had plotted with the hospital and GP to keep him in :((

I had to bring him home with antibiotics and take him back next monday , I have a feeling that wont happen... please fingers crossed let the antibiotics work. I couldnt put dad through another day like that .. or me !!!
