Plying party

I've been practising my Navajo plying technique, firstly on the two lightly skeins (which were odd ends of singles), and then on the "gift" bobbin on the right. The one on the left was the last, and definitely the best of the three. It was the batt that I made from a blend of black alpaca, orange, yellow and red merino with little bits of a vibrant red silk thrown in, on the guild's drum carder

Shoulders are definitely tense but it is getting easier.
