Mono Monday: "Weird & Wonderful"

My immediate idea for this week's theme was to go and look at the memento mori and occupational symbols carved on the graves at the Auld Kirk. Some are bizarre, including a pair of shears with angelic wings! (A gardener's grave, apparently.) That one, sadly, doesn't photograph well. When photographing a set of symbols on another stone, though, where water lying in the recess made each symbol stand out, I spotted this pair of hands. I think they represent a stonemason, wielding a hammer and chisel.
