An early walk to Rydal Hall. I enjoyed a free cappuccino at the tea room (last stamp on my card), had a wander around the gardens then got a bus back to Ambleside.

It was cool and breezy but lovely to be out with blue sky and sunshine.

Fortunately I’d forgotten it was the Kirkstone car pull today. A team of local ladies broke the record for pulling a car to the top of Kirkstone Pass. I got more exercise going to Rydal rather than walking a few hundred yards up the road to where I would have taken a photo. I can’t comment about the quality of blip.
