Ruby Ride

Probably the longest ride I've done on Ruby yet, but the bloody phone didn't record the distance! For once I'd somehow allowed the iWatch to run low on battery, so I left it at home and set the phone to record to Strava. When I got home I found it had only recorded the first section. 

However, it was probably a 35-45km round trip. And after giving the front grass the first cut of the year (the back garden grass is still very much the worse for the builder's use of it as a lay-down area), I'm feeling like a nap! Janet has been screaming at the weeds, who apparently failed to get the memo about not growing this year.

Interesting to note the recent guilty verdict, sentencing and debarring of France's Le Pen. It echo's that of Brazil's far right former President Bolsonaro who was also barred from standing until 2030. I'm sure it must come as something of a shock, over the Pond, to realise that some countries don't allow recently convicted criminals to run for public office...

On a slightly smaller issue - indeed a tiny one - I'm hosting Tiny Tuesday for April, and that starts tomorrow. Sub-themes are available but not mandatory, and we are starting the month renown for April showers with #TT514 Something Wet.
