At Birmingham: Higgins' reunited .... X

There's nothing like a wedding to bring a tribe together.

The Higgins tribe hasn't been gathered like this for quite a long time. It a special reunion because today there was a new addition into to the Higgins clan. Jo and Graham got married. Jo is a wonderful fun loving character with an infectious love for life and has an obvious gift for passing it on in her profession as a school teacher. As an talented illustrator and cartoonist, Graham (bottom left) had drawn for Punch, The Radio Times and also drew for the Terry Pratchett novels.

Grandpa Higgins (bottom right) revelled in delight at his family united again. He shared tale upon tale of family history, proudly detailing the detail and listening intently. At 8o something years old he keeps up with his Grandsons, Matthew (back left) and James (back right) sense of humour. Following the wit and banter, that most would miss, I suggested that sitting up straight like 'a Victorian' might produce a better family portrait. Grandpa Higgins retreated with, 'I am a Victorian!' ....

That's the shot then, the Happy Higgins family portrait, with the new very warm and bubbly Jo x

Congratulations ....x
