Sunflower Centre

Had an interesting project conversation this morning that requires a pow pow of my supervisory group. Then had a visit from a lovely friend calling to collect her logs from some trees that we cut in the garden. She gave me some more beautiful sunflowers and as I put them in the vase I was drawn to the complexity of their core hence this shot.
An afternoon and evening painting the decking as I contemplated my work and thought deeply about the core! Coupled with some chit chat from my visiting daughter all made for a useful day.
