Marjoram
Similar to oregano, lovely with lamb or chicken, ace fried with potatoes. Easy to grow, it dies back in winter and comes back in spring - like this. Keep it in a pot though, it can go bonkers bananas and run rampage through the garden. And yes, I've reached the stage of wandering around looking for random plants to use as blipfodder; this is a really busy time at work.
Writing "at work" seems strange, it reflects the olden days when "at work" meant being in a kitchen, or a restaurant, or an office, or a prison. or one of a number of other physical locations. Now it means being at home, and working here. This isn't a complaint, far from it, just an observation.
Being at home means that I can cook, tonight I'm having chicken thigh wrapped in bacon (ces't dans le extras)
