Peas in the gutter

Last year I tried starting off my peas in toilet roll middles in the greenhouse.  They didn't germinate well, unlike broad beans which are looking good again.  So, I'm experimenting with planting them in some guttering. All being well planting them out into a trench from the gutter should be easy!!
