to make beauty for love

trailing through the wet streets of Vienna, hunting down the magic ingredients to make festive a wedding party for my youngest brother, I am grateful to my friend, because the love, care and thought she has put into it has made space for me too to contribute a little more. The elaborate ritual of decoration, of light and colour will seal the love of two people that we are coming together to celebrate, and in the making of the magic we too are all weaving in our love.
