Daffodils and Skiddaw

We stopped the car on the way to Keswick this morning at Thornthwaite so I could get this blip of daffodils + Skiddaw.

Ros to the rescue! 
Later on, we were walking by Derwentwater we came across a Herdwick standing perfectly still in Derwentwater. It had obviously been chased by a dog and was petrified. Ros waded out into the water...she got right behind it...it then made a dash for dry land. If Ros hadn't done that it would still be there.
