Solace Day 6 - Heron

There have been very few herons on the canal this trip and even fewer kingfishers. This is the only one I have managed to photograph and it wouldn't be a canal week without a blip of one!

When I quickly reviewed my flight pics on the LCD I though they were all out of focus, well good ivy shots but blurred heron. I was amazed to download them and find one useable shot of the flying heron.

We arrived back at the marina today, a day earlier than usual.
