Wedded To Taking It All In Your Stride

Today was the usual Sunday food shop followed by our customary pint at The Horseshoes but as it was such a lovely day we decided not to head straight home and again stop off in town to see if we could capture our images for the day.
After a walk along the riverfront we headed back to the bottom end of the High Street where I managed to capture my main image. Initially I was annoyed when I looked at this shot as I'd failed to separate the couple into individual spaces within the image but then realised that I liked their matching stride patterns and that it somehow fitted with the bridal shop in the background - I also love how both their heads have turned towards the doorway at the same time and that the colour of their jackets stand out against all the white and pink of the window display.
The extra is a bit more of an impressionistic image which I took down a nearby side street. I could see the crossing man had just turned to red (although in my image he has more of orange hue with a glowing red head and feet!) with my silhouetted reflection caught on the screen and that there was a pedestrian on the other side of the road just walking into the frame so I rushed to capture the scene before he disappeared.
