Mother's Day

I had a trawl through my box of cards and found lots that Aimee had made me for Mother's Day in the past.  I love this one which shows her love and creative talents.

Strange day - cards from James and a Moonpig card from Aimee (from James) - lovely words and pictures and it made me cry.  He talked about Aimee watching over me and the little robin coming to say hello.  What a lovely chap.

My day started with an early train to London to meet up with Brother and Sister and OH's and nieces and nephews.  We met at Coal Drops for brunch in the Ivy then did a lovely walk along the Regent's canal and Regents Park (past the Regent's Park Mosque and I wondered which country I was in?). We wound our way through the back streets to Charing X and had walked over 21,000 steps.  Lovely day chatting to everyone in turn and catching up and laughing.  No.2 came along for brunch (on his bike) but didn't stay for the walk - H was busy on Phd work and was a bit stressed.

I had lots of messages from friends and Aimee's friends remembering me on Mother's Day - but the one person who I most want to hear from..... I won't any more?!

Day done - cheese for dinner as still full from breakfast.
