I had company for my Dance Lane Walk today

Jay, my son, came across to see me, and it was lovely to see him.   He also put my new IKEA chairs together, so a double bonus.

I’m not well at the moment, I’ve possibly got a gut infection, so ours was a slow walk. I think the last time he came I showed him the Merlin App for identifying bird song, so here he is at the entrance to Dance Lane Farm, listening.  I think he recorded the regulars: Chiffchaff, Robin, Wren, Blackbird and also a Coal Tit, which he said he didn’t know.  I’ve not seen them on the feeders this year, but they’ve always been regular visitors to the garden.  I guess if they visit the far feeder by the hedge I wouldn’t notice them.

My grandson Bobby is in the Bbc3 series ‘Crongton’ and I’ve been watching it through on my iPad as I have been doing other things.  His main appearance so far has been in episode 7, but I’ve just watched episode 8 where they are going to the School Prom and he can dance, he looks really smart in his Prom outfit too.
