Emergency! Heirloom Blip

Had lunch with Tess's Mum & Dad at their local hotel and unfortunately her Dad was taken ill with a recurrence of his heart problems which meant calling the paramedics and ambulance and a trip to hospital. Fortunately, the medics got the situation under control fairly quickly and he's more like his normal self now (worrying whether we paid the bill for lunch!) but they're keeping him in overnight for further tests.

Back late hence a quick blip of a rather unusual and interesting family heirloom that belonged to my family but which Tess's Mum recently unearthed and gave me today, of which more another time, I suspect.
