Festival, what Festival? No sign of all that frantic activity here. Lochrin basin is well hidden, hemmed in by the surrounding buildings and not visible from any of the nearby roads - although I've lived in Edinburgh for over 20 years now I've never been here or even seen it before today, even though I knew roughly where it was. I will be back here next week though, for a cruise along the canal exploring the whisky history of Edinburgh.
