Booky Wooks

Headed in to the Book Festival...but we were a day early ! Tents were up but gates were closed.

As a compromise we stopped in at Waterstones, No 1 stocked up on Higher study guides, No 2 stocked up on, well, loads of books ( I recommended 'Carrie' to her...!), and No 3 fought tooth and nail to be allowed to choose LEGO !

It's a book shop ! Why do they put toys on show ! (grrr)

A trip to the uniform shop for a school blazer for No 3- which she accidentally left in a shop toilet later. We discovered this when we were on the bus home !

You know that sinking feeling when you count the bags and realise something is missing??!! Had to go back for it.

Good weather continues. George Street has tables and people are EATING outside ! FFS ! This is Scotland...don't they realise how risky that is?
