A grumpy little rosehip

I woke to a dusting of snow this morning. Things looked pretty but I think I'm ready for spring to move forward. I did sit outside for a while once it warmed up a bit and talked to Dan. He is doing well and so is Patty the duck :-) 
The kitty and I have had lots of pets today. She let me pet her head and scratch around her ears if I come from the back. She is still hand shy from the front. 
Otherwise, a very quiet day with food prep, fiddle practice and some reading.
